Frequently asked

Common questions

What is the difference between an Interim and a Comprehensive BISP?
An Interim Behaviour Intervention Support Plan addresses immediate risk and restrictive practices in the early stages of support. A Comprehensive Behaviour Intervention Support Plan follows a full functional behaviour assessment and sets out longer-term, person-centred strategies.
How do I know when a plan needs reviewing?
Plans should be reviewed when circumstances change — a new setting, new supports, changes in presentation or restrictive practice use — and at the intervals required under the NDIS.
What information should I include with a referral?
Consent, current funding details, any existing behaviour support plans or incident reports, relevant clinical or diagnostic reports, and a contact person who knows the participant well.
Do you deliver training for support teams?
Yes. Targeted Behaviour Support Training helps support workers and carers implement plan strategies consistently and confidently in the environments where support happens.
