Practice Forum

The Quovus Practice Forum is a model of service delivery designed to actively guide and assist organisation managers and key personnel to achieve quality service development goals. It is designed to provide a structured process for the training, supervision and development of key service systems and staff identified within an organisation.

The Practice Forum assists an organisation to identify opportunities for improvement and development and also promote sustainability within the agency.

This support focuses on three key areas of operation:

Individual

  • Review and Monitoring of Individual Plans
  • Review and Monitoring of Lifestyle and Environment Management Plans
  • Development and implementation of individual programming protocol as required
  • Develop, implement, review and monitor individual behaviour intervention and support plans

Unit Based

  • Facilitated support in the development of unit planning to address individual clinical support needs and required service system development and enhancement
  • Provision of unit based clinical report to supplement unit based management report

Agency based

  • Facilitation of a regular scheduled (commonly set at a monthly timetable) Practice Forum attended by identified organisational management and key personnel
  • Review and analysis of a variety of critical reports
  • Reports presented from all service units and levels within the organisation (ie. units, branch and clinical),
  • Provision of standardised and customised reporting templates to provide a streamlined approach to organisational reporting

A Practice Forum commonly operates in a way to incorporate current challenges and issues, along with a planned agenda with prioritised topics. The content covered by the forum has a corrective and developmental focus, and incorporates both systemic and individual client issues. Quovus undertakes to provide experienced input and guidance, while structuring and facilitating the Practice Forum.
