Psychological Services

Quovus offers a range of Psychological services designed to support service providers and enhance the quality of life for clients. We employ a number of Psychologists who are fully registered with the NSW Psychologists Registration Board, and who offer great depth and variety of experience and areas of specialisation.

Psychological Assessment

Quovus provides a range of Psychological Assessments for individuals and groups. Assessments are available for children and adults of all ages. The most common assessments include, but are not limited to, Intelligence testing and Adaptive Behaviour and Functional Assessments.

Further sssessment areas include: mental health, coping skills, developmental, vocational, personality, child and family assessment, court reports and many other options as required by a service.

The level of our assessment services is advanced. We apply throrough, integrated and coordinated methods of information gathering and analysis combined with well developed tools and techniques.

Counselling Services

Quovus offers counselling services to individuals and groups of all ages whether they are people with special or complex needs, staff members, carers and family members, partners or others requiring a framework of support and interaction. This also includes Psychological Debriefing for people who experience critical incidents or traumatic events. The Counselling approach, location, and time frame is customised to the needs of the client and is based on thorough consultation and negotiation with the relevant people involved.

Psychologist Supervision and Mentoring

Quovus can provide Professional Supervision for Conditionally Registered Psychologists who are working towards Full Registration, and other Psychologists requiring additional clinical support and supervision. This provides the individual with a key Supervisor as well as access to Psychologists with particular areas of expertise. Undertaking Professional Psychologist Supervision with Quovus also opens many pathways for networking and establishing relationships and linkages with other professionals in the field. Psychologist Telelinks and tutorials are also conducted which involve peer discussion and mentoring regarding identified topic areas on a regular basis.
